Description

Nestled in the heart of Sheffield, Fagans is a quintessential Irish pub that evokes both nostalgia and mixed reviews. Patrons appreciate the friendly, long-standing staff and the genuine, welcoming atmosphere, often highlighting the delectable traditional food. However, some have reservations about rising drink prices and the establishment's aging decor. While many rave about its sizeable breakfast and live music, others criticize the quality of the Guinness and the overall ambiance, suggesting it lacks vibrancy. Despite its imperfections, Fagans remains a beloved local haunt, celebrated for its charm and commitment to hearty, honest cuisine in a cozy setting.

Went to this pub to celebrate St Patrick the Patron Saint of Nigeria only to find the good people of Fagans had decked the place out with Nigerian green, a lovely touch, seemed popular with Irish people that day too, I don't know why.

Excellent beers and pies. Good to see bass on tap and a variety of pies and sausage rolls. Great pub.
