Also normally stocks the best sweet things that... read more I visit regularly but this is the first time I've written a review. The BEST coffee and sandwiches in Sheffield. Also normally stocks the best sweet things that Sheff has to offer too (my personal faves are the pecan pie and lemon meringue but lots of cakes are normally available too). Staff are always friendly and helpful. If you're visiting, just don't go too close to closing or you might find that you miss out on the cakes/sandwiches! The little shop next door is always worth a nosy it's v pretty and always has lush fresh ingredients as well as the Italian pastas and sauces etc that you'd expect!

I went there with my girlfriend to have a nice breakfast, we arrived and ordered a cappuccino and a cortado, then the lady arrives with two identical coffees, w... read more I went there with my girlfriend to have a nice breakfast, we arrived and ordered a cappuccino and a cortado, then the lady arrives with two identical coffees, when I asked which one is the cortado, she said that they don't really do cortado so she brought me a cappuccino instead, I said that I don't like cappuccino, the SHOCKING PART is that she replied saying why don't you try it first?! WOW! Excuse me but I know what I don't like! She could have just apologized and offered me other options in stead of trying to impose over me. This created a tense atmosphere and I felt that she was more mad than me about it and that didn't make me feel welcome. It is a pity because their coffee is very nice and I even took the extra work of going there, even though it is far from where we live now. However, thanks to the lady's attitude we're not going to be visiting anymore. A simple apology would have done it, everyone makes mistakes at work, but what I can not take is she being made about it -if they don't do cortado (or any other drink) she could have just said it and not bring whatever she feels like bringing to the table. As far I knew a customer is entitled to have what he/she is wanting to have -NOT WHAT THE WAITER/WAITRESS WANTS HIM/HER TO HAVE. UNBELIAVABLE.

Pic... read more Loved the hot cocoa so much ended up asking for the powder mix and recipe. Which was so kindly shared!! Also enjoyed a spread of fresh cheese and cold cuts. Picked up some relishes made of finest peppers to be enjoyed in good time, thanks to the guidance of the passionate owner.
