The al pastor pork) tacos were surprisingly amazing. I say surprising only because I expected the pupusas to be the standout. On the other hand, the pupusa revueltas $2.99) was just okay. It wasn't great and was more doughy than I expected. I wouldn't order it again. I'd definitely order a side of crema next time. I got the pollo con tajadas $14.99). The chicken sauce tasted pretty similar to a watery ketchup/Thousan... View all feedback.
The menu reflects Salvadoran food rather than Mexican food. There is a difference. Their takeaway business is very busy as well as their in-house business. Try something different for a change.
I love the food here. Everything I have tried is amazing but the papusas are the best I've ever had. If you don't know what those are, try them... handmade tamales basically flattened and in the shape of a disk. The slaw that goes in these has a lot of flavor and has the right amount of bite. The Horchata is really good also. The service is always quick and on point. The building is a small hole in the wall place behind BP. You would t know it's here unless you were looking for it.
This is a hidden gem the food service amazing. The coleslaw has a nice spicy kick and the sauces wonderful. First time I've had Salvadoran food! The prices are reasonable and the clientele tells me this is the place! I will be back!
The Hubby is Central American and we've been looking for a good pupusa place. We finally found our spot here in the Midwest. This place is really good. They have a sign on the door saying that if tables are not available you should get a number but when we walked in there were plenty of tables. The people were friendly and the pupusas tasted as they should. The Salvadorean and Mexican horchata weren't very good. They weren't bad just a tad off. We ordered pupusas with loroco and cheese. The cortido (cabbage salad) was tasty and the salsas were spicy. The restaurant is in a small strip mall not too far from Ikea. We will be coming back to this location.

The chicken sauce tasted pretty similar to a watery ketchup/Thousand Island-type sauce, but it was yummy. The plantains were great with them.
