Oishi Sushi Restaurant Bar - Shawnee

My wife and I tried oishi for lunch, today for the first time we were there. great atmosphere, friendly staff, good prices and absolutely delicious food. we had two lunches, two sushi rolls and two soft drinks. the total invoice was only $40. everything was extremely delicious; they could have the best crab krangoon in town. highly recommended.

Oishi is without doubt the best sushi restaurant in the kc metro area. I regularly go with my partner here, I take everyone who likes sushi, sometimes when I feel like alone, I come here alone to relax, drink something warm and watch the bar. on this wise it is a great place for any situation. the quality of sushi here is high, but the prices are not as high as they would expect. very in the middle of the road, if not something on the expensive side, but it is really good overall. when they go to a sushi place in the plaza, they simply pay 3 times as much for a product that is half quality. when they live in the city, they make the trip to the suburbs. this will be the best stripe mall sushi experience of her life. I am a great fan of sashimi and sushi, but their roles are also good. if they take a date here, I recommend the sushi and sashimi for two. they get a bit of everything (soup, salad, sushi, sashimi, 2 rolls) for like $70. it's a steal. thanks to the staff in oishi! you help shawnee to make a great place to live!

I have heard great things about this place, and oishi sushi has not disappointed. it is full of surprises and tasty quality. Of course, the happy hour is the best hour, especially when it comes in the form of sushi. the happy hour menu includes a decent amount of food and drink. but, above all, it's all the lavish. when they are new in this sushi/restaurant, the oishi roll and gyoza are good starters! Both meat/proteins tasted fresh and were not tasted aggressively. otherwise the menu has a lot of traditional and special roles, sushi boats, standard appetizers, and various hibachi and Japanese favorites. the atmosphere is ideal for a peaceful meal for two or a low-voltage company together. the culinary artists of oishi sushi and the waiting staff put the standard for quality sushi restaurants in shawnee mission, ks.

What a great place to eat and have adult drinks! the waitress was very nice and let us know if we have asked her to explain it? the hibachi steak garnelen was amazing the brown soße was soou good and I know that sounds crazy, but the steamed rice was the best I had, I even had to go some after! definitely a place to go happy hour 4:30-6:00pm, make sure that crab leaves order very tasty and I had the $5 margarita and we say it so good they should have two. closed on Mondays

I was craving a sushi sashimi platter and this place popped up on my google search. I went on for lunch and was blown away by their platters. We got an amazing assortment of different fish, think salmon, yellowtail, ahi tuna and white fish and it was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepped and sliced, and generous portions. The platter we chose came with the spicy tuna roll and their eel and avocado roll, and I happened to enjoy the freshness of the latter more. The boat display was really cute as well. We also enjoyed the crab rangoons, great flavour all around. The staff and service was excellent, will be back to try their platters and specialty rolls for sure.
