What James Herriott doesn't like about Lock Stock Barrel:
I have been coming to Lock Stock for close to 40 years. The last few times have been a disappointment and I don't anticipate going again any time soon. The counter staff kept cutting us off as we ordered. There was a $0.90 upcharge for pickles for my half sub. I just have to say ..the subs are huge ...prices are fair ...desserts r yummy ..love the chips ..old skool service ..whats not to love !!
Huge subs, made fresh to order and many types to choose from. They also have sandwiches, entrees, salads. Breakfast too!
Best sandwich shop in our area meat and cheese sliced fresh in front of you. The bread is fresh, and they are giving you extra meat and cheese without having to pay extra. I have been eating from here for close to 50 years and no one comes close for a Sub.

I don't have a problem waiting for hot foods there but the last thing we were waiting on was my son's burger and it was sitting on the ledge for two minutes before anyone grabbed it. And they were not busy like usual either. The nugget snack, burger and onion rings we got were delicious. My wife's Reuben had so much mustard on it she couldn't eat it. My turkey sub had rotten lettuce on it. I really miss when the Chubas ran it.
