After reading a mix of negative and positive reviews, my fiancé and I decided to try the restaurant for ourselves. We were glad we didn’t heed the negative comments. There was a slight wait, but once we were seated, we could place our orders immediately. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the girl at the entrance was more than happy to answer our questions. Yes, the shakes may be a bit expensive, but you definitely get your money's worth. The glass was nearly overflowing with shake, and the toppings were delightful. Plus, there’s a convenient spot to rinse your cups, so you can take them home clean. We will certainly be returning for another date night!
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The milkshakes were fantastic! I found the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality of food and service we received.
Your experience may vary, for better or worse. I've passed by this place several times since it opened, and there's almost always a line out the door. A great tip is to arrive right when they open. We showed up just five minutes before noon on a Sunday and were second in line by the time the doors opened. It also helps to know what you want to order before reaching the cashier, since the ordering moves quickly, though it takes about five minutes to get your food. Getting there early means you’ll have a seat while you wait. Don’t forget to grab plenty of napkins and enjoy your meal. If you get a souvenir jar, there’s a station to wash jars, and their plastic milkshake cups fit perfectly inside for takeout. We will definitely return, especially when we have out-of-town guests, but next time, I’ll be sure to get there early.
The Yard Milkshake offers ice cream with amazing flavors, and their specialty mason jar creations are truly outstanding. Although the prices are a bit steep, they are definitely justified by the generous portions and the bonus of taking home the mason jar! The venue is cozy, with only four tables and four high-top tables, so it’s not ideal for large groups. If you do find a spot, they’ll bring your order right to your table. Make sure to check out their menu for all the delicious options available.
Two adults and two kids, all quite hungry, couldn’t finish just two sundaes because they were so delicious! The desserts looked exactly like the pictures on their website, which was a great touch. The only downside is that the prices are pretty steep—comparable to Disney park rates—so you’ll want to budget accordingly. Still, the experience is absolutely worth it!
