I love this place. It's my go to for vegan options when I'm in the area. Everything is so flavorful. My favorites are the vegan egg foo young, vegan sausage and vegan burger. They are all soooo delicious. And the homemade sweet tea is good too. Definitely worth trying. View all feedback.

What Calvin S dislikes about Taste Grace:
Wow. I hate that I have to leave this kind of feedback I had great expectations for this place. I ordered fried fish, crab cakes, potato salad, and seafood rice. Crab cakes are as bad as they look. The fish had no seasoning at all, and the seafood rice wasn't good it even had shrimp in it that had not been deveined. I only enjoyed the potato salad. Lastly, you should tie your deliver order bags in knots so that we ha... View all feedback.

The experience was average overall. I had a craving for conch and decided to sample a few items from the menu, including shrimp mac and cheese, spicy wings, and conch salad. I was hoping for more flavor, especially from the wings. The mac and cheese was okay, but not worth the $13 given the small serving size; it should have been outstanding at that price. The conch salad was quite tasty, though it had a bit of a bitter aftertaste and was more vegetable-heavy than I expected. If you're looking for truly excellent conch, I recommend trying The Conch Shell in Ajax; I've never been disappointed with anything on their menu.

The fritters were overcooked and tough. I ordered sausage mac to go with it, but it was only cooked on top and cold in the middle, as if it had been leftover from yesterday and just broiled for a few minutes before being sold to me for $20. I drove for 8 minutes with it, and as soon as I got home, I had to put it in the microwave. Not impressed.

On my second visit, I opted for the Lemon Pepper chicken wings for myself, while my wife had a basket of catfish nuggets and shrimp. I was surprised to find that the chicken is smoked rather than fried, and I didn't taste any lemon pepper at all, which was disappointing. My wife's catfish nuggets were supposed to come with curly fries, but they had run out. She didn't finish her catfish or the waffle fries and declared she wouldn't be dining there again. During my last visit, I ordered ten shrimp and two crab cakes with potato salad. The crab cakes were made with 100% real crab meat, which I enjoyed. The shrimp were good but quite small, and the potato salad was average. They also offer a drink called Paula's Punch, which contains real pieces of fruit. A 16 oz. bottle costs $5, and while it was delicious, I felt it was too small for the price. Overall, despite my mixed experiences, I think you should give it a try at least once.
