My cousin was here and told me about his good times. He cursed me to visit him in Alaska, but life came in the way. He died unexpectedly and I never had to see Alaska from his eyes. This place is pretty good. I 'm humored by the reviews that say this is not a tourist bar. I see what they mean, but no need to create a scary or do not enter vibe. The music is loud, the food and drink are overpriced (welcome to Alaska! but other than that, it 's just what you 'd expect. Before I worked here, the Pit was my go-to bar. Mitch has always made me feel safe and at home here.
This place feels like home. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a big ole smile and welcome from Angel who is actually a real-life angel probably. It's also a liquor store which is convenient, also convenient is its location.Locals are waaaay too much fun, drinks are good and cheap. Ring the bell to buy a round for the locals y'all! I came up here in 2019 and got hitched, but also to try salmon vodka.Don't be put off, please go here and get a **** Mary with salmon vodka, you won't regret it!I hope to return this summer! <3
This place is a must visit go-to place if you live in or are visiting Seward. . Come here, you will not regret it.
