We love Tavi's. It's the best Italian restaurant in town. We always order the fried mushroom appetizer....it's very lightly breaded and comes with a nice marinara sauce. Their pizza is delicious. My husband usually orders the eggplant parmesan and I like the Italian combo. The service is always friendly. And you can bring your own wine or cold beer!During my most recent visit, Flor, one of the owners, donated a $30 g... View all feedback.
What Nancy Peterson doesn't like about Tavi's Italian:
This my first time trying this restaurant, the service was slow but friendly. The chicken Marsala was bland and chicken was over cooked and tough. I gave a score of 1 on the atmosphere because I had to fight flies the whole time and then a wasp appeared. I don’t know if I will come back a second time. View all feedback.
My husband and I stopped by after visiting Whatz-Up Park across the street, with the primary intention of enjoying some pizza. We are big fans of Margherita pizza and noticed it on the menu, so we decided to try it. However, it turned out to be quite different from what we're used to. The base had an excessive amount of olive oil, and while there may have been basil, it was hard to tell. It tasted good overall, but the oiliness was overwhelming, and I wouldn't order it again. On a positive note, the dough was great—crispy just the way I like it. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Next time, we'll opt for a different pizza!
Not really happy. Cheese sticks was good. However my calzone was still cold in the middle I sent it back and they nuked it in the microwave so got it back and it was soggy ended up bringing it home and just feeding to my dogs. Wife spaghetti the noodles where not cooked good at all and very bland in taste. Will not go back I'd rather spend 20 to 25 at McDonald's then almost 60 here. Can not recommend
We were looking for a place on a Sunday evening. One of the only places open was Tavi's. We were concerned when it was 7pm and only 4 cars in parking lot. However, we thought we would give it a try, maybe a hidden gem. The staff was very friendly and quick to wait on us. The food is mediocre. We all agreed that the pizza was the best part of the meal. It is BYOB which has its attraction. In their defense, they did get two big groups about 20 people walk in at one time, right after us. I would try other restaurants in the area before I will come back.
This was my first visit to this restaurant. The service was friendly but quite slow. Unfortunately, the chicken Marsala was bland, and the chicken itself was overcooked and tough. I rated the atmosphere a 1 because I had to deal with flies the entire time, and then a wasp showed up. I'm uncertain if I'll return for a second visit.
The kids loved the chicken and shrimp Alfredo pasta, and my margherita pizza was absolutely delicious!
