Happened on here by chance and what a find. The food and service was fabulous. On wished we didnt live 1200km away. Our cruise ship docked at Sete and we had walked round the coastline. My husband had the tuna special and I had the lasagne with a bottle of the local wine...fantastic
Visited L’Estacade again on our autumn break near Sete. The food is very nice, all freshly cooked to order, with nice vegetables (which can be non existent in France). Many of their customers are French, always a good sign. They are always very busy on Sundays but the service is still good. It’s best to book for Sundays even in low season as the locals eat there. We love the curries, the beautiful fresh dorade, sea bass and turbot, simply but perfectly cooked, juicy and tasty. The seafood risotto is lovely. Also their meat dishes, with something different on Sundays, are very tasty. The ice creams and crepes are delicious and addictive and the house wine is very good. Good luck to the young couple who run it. They deserve to do well. We’ll be back!!
Just returned after 6 weeks for another lunch in the sun. The young couple who recently opened L’Estacade, are working hard to establish a good reputation here. The service is very good, the food always fresh, there is a daily specials board plus a menu with popular dishes such as burgers, moules frites, clams, seiche and much more. Great house wine too. €54 for a large delicious starter to share, 2 Dorade with side veggies, 1 dessert, 1 coffee, 1/2litre house rosé. Really lovely lunch. It’s right by the sea with the new almost finished “boardwalk” and cycle path right in front and ample parking close by. They are open all day and cater for kiddies too. It’s well worth a try if you’re in the area or at the beach.
This restaurant has only been open one week and yet it was full today for Sunday lunch! Luckily we had heard about it and reserved. It is in a nice setting at the side of the canal that joins the Etang du Thau to the Med. It’s just about 50m from the sea yet set back from the road. Parking nearby too. The food was delicious. We had the special starter of the day to share...6 huge meaty prawns in a light tempura type coating, followed by 2 very large, perfectly cooked Sea Bass with chips and a variety of veggies in a side dish. We finished up with a lemon and sugar crêpe for me and a Café Gourmand. Sadly my hubby tucked in too soon for me to take a photo but he said it was delicious as was my crêpe. The rosé house wine was really nice too. The meal was very good value for money at €59.00 including wine. The young couple running it were working very hard today but the service was good and everyone around us seemed happy with their meals. All the food looked very tempting.. We will certainly be going back soon!
This friendly bistro was a few meters from where we were staying so became a reliable source of tasty and well-prepared lunches and dinners featuring local seafood. Really worth a visit.

Excellent, special mention for tuna tataki and jacque risotto gambas/saint, pure pleasure! The team is so sweet. I recommend
Super restaurant with a beautiful map. Everything was good, we enjoyed A to Z .. in a pleasant setting on the edge of the port with friendly servers. We took wolves from the Mediterranean: simply magical, including accompaniments.
I've eaten for the first time in this restaurant and I've had a great time! The food is fresh and well prepared Special mention on the tataki that was really good! Special mention bis for artisanal beer and the small Dijo rum arranged Very good address I recommend
The kitchen is of quality and the reception very nice. prices are on average. The place is nice along the marina. Attention on the other hand is better booked because only about forty covers. I recommend risotto. little more at the end the digestive offered. I recommend
