What MikeFz dislikes about Tic-tic:
There is a small car park just past the restaurant, but, it was full for the entire time we were in town. The food, although cooked, lacked any type of seasoning (grilled Mackerel, pork chop and squid). The rice was great though! When compared to other local restaurant food quality, this one charged the same, but, the quality of food served made this restaurant expensive. View all feedback.

After having spent the entire morning with dolphins in a speed boat on the sea, we randomly entered the restaurant Tic Tic for a quick lunch. We were definitely lucky here, as this place offered us one of the best fish meals we got during our one-week vacation in the vicinity of Lisbon. Fish is fresh in the sense that the restaurant only serves river and sea fishes caught during the very same day. A variety of possibilities were somewhat looking at us when we entered the place. We picked some sea bream that my wife and I shared. The fish was perfectly grilled, fleshy, and delicious, and it came with potatoes and a generous salad. In contrast, our two boys shared some beef and eggs, a typical Portuguese dish. They enjoyed it quite a lot, both of them being very happy and satisfied with their meal. Unfortunately, we were a little bit pushed for time so that we had only the time for one dish, despite the starters and desserts that looked very appealing from what we saw on other tables. To make a long story short, we recommend the restaurant Tic Tic very strongly, without hesitation. This does not only come from the amazing food, but also from the service that was very efficient and nice (they knew that we were in a hurry), as well as from the attractive price.

Great place, food is as fresh as it can get, perfectly cooked and seasoned. You can see where it comes off the boat from your seat. It’s a mixture of ordering specific meals for one or two or by weight for some things, like prawns. Everything was in Portuguese (but we are in Portugal) but we got by ok, the staff are really nice. I can highly recommend the black swordfish, it tasted better than some fancy places we’ve eaten, and soo fresh !

We had the seabass which was great, cooked perfectly and very tasty. Fish was clearly freshly caught. Staff were a bit unfriendly. Slightly on the expensive side. Takes bank card payments which is not the case for most of the other restaurants near the dive shops.
