I ordered Lotte and to be fair alt... read more We arrived on a Tuesday at lunchtime and found this restaurant very busy. Taking this as a good sign we decided to eat there. I ordered Lotte and to be fair although I knew it was a fish I didn’t know what kind. It was delivered in a bright yellow souse which immediately put be off. The sauce actually didn’t taste of anything and the fish was well enough cooked but it looked terrible and I really struggled to eat it. I have now discovered Lotte is Monkfish which is not my favourite fish anyway. My husband had the duck and said it was very tasty. We both had what was supposed to be a cherry cake. There were cherries in it definitely but it wasn’t a cake and I couldn’t really describe it but it was unpleasant. The cherries were fine though. I think it was just a bit too rustic for me so I doubt I would return.
