Located a good walk from the city, we were... read more My girlfriend and I was recommended to visit Madatchen by friends who are familiar with Serfaus and its restaurants. Located a good walk from the city, we were welcomed by a beautiful snowcowered restaurant. The restaurant was vibrant with laughter, muik and the wonderfull smell of meat being prepared on the grill in the center. The Hosts, were very open and welcoming and had time for a small chat eventhough the house was packed. We settled on the Serfauser Lamb from the grill, and we were not disappointed. It was very juicy and tender, and had that really nice grill flavor. For the Schnapps afficianados, they serve a great Hasselnut Schnapps that is made right next door. Content and with full stomachs we made the walk back to town and was greeted by a beautiful sight of a lit up Serfaus. Don't let the restaurants location deter you from going. If you don't want to walk up take a cab, and walk back.
