What User doesn't like about Molinari:
The grilled vegetable appetizer was disappointing and served cold, indicating it may have been prepared in advance. The gnocchi bowl had good flavor, but the gnocchi itself seemed more like chunks of potato than traditional gnocchi. This dish could benefit from more garlic, but as I am not a fan, it did not suit my taste. View all feedback.
The bolognese pizza was so good, definitely recommend! for me it is a bit pricey so not somewhere i’d go often, but definitely very tasty food even my italian friend approved!
The vegan options are quite good for a place that is crowded with non-vegans and rarely mentioned by vegans. Ragu Rigatoni tasted good and portions were fair.
Fantastic food, friendly service and a lovely dining experience. Only let down by the gnocchi which was realistically just balls of (still very tasty) mashed potato
The grilled veggie appetizer was underwhelming and cold. It seems like they premade these beforehand. The gnocchi dish had flavor but the gnocchi themselves felt like I was eating mashed potato bits instead. If you like large garlic this dish would suit you but I’m not a fan.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they offer a complete separate vegan menu at this restaurant! Unfortunately, they were out of pizza the night my party and I visited, even though there was only one other group dining at 7:30 in the evening. (They were apologetic and offered us some delicious pickles, which paired nicely with the pasta.) We ended up trying the ragu rigatoni and gnocchi instead. The ragu was made with veggie/soy textured protein and was incredibly tasty. The gnocchi had good flavor, but was a bit too soft for my liking, though I still enjoyed it. They even bake their own bread in-house. The staff was friendly and entertaining...I will definitely be returning to sample their pizza next time!
