Pyongyang Naengmyeon was fantastic. The boiled pork as also great. Will go again.
Pyongyang style Nengmyeon(cold noodle). Selected as Bib gourmand Restaurant by Michelin Guide. Pretty cheap for Nengmyeon.
This restaurant is very famous for Pyoung-yang nang-myeon. (Nang-myeon is korean traditional food of noodle with cold soup) This restaurant is ranked on Michelin guide bib gourmard. Soup is very attractive for mania of Pyoung-yang nang-myeon. Soup is clear and looks like no taste. But if you taste it, u will smell of meat, and start to like it. Nice noodle and great soup. someone who tries to eat Pyoung-yang nang-myeon first time can enjoy it.
The famous buckwheat cold noodle place in Yeouido area. Returned after 5 years but they still had the edge, which I felt grateful. The price went up drastically from the past but it was understandable. The steamed pork and beef were great. Steamed dumplings were not impressive. We ordered 100% buckwheat noodles and the texture flavor were spectacular. I had to empty the bowl even though the broth was bit salty to my taste. All in all, it was a great lunch and would love to come back when I visit Yeouido again.
If you can enjoy of Pyoengyangneangmyoen taste should must go place! I really love here most of this type of food in here most clean but super tasty and you can feel full of flavor i hight recommendation my mom usually enjoy Hamhouengneanymyoen style when she visited here she changed and finally she agreed!!!
