Description

Beau Thai restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, with some customers raving about the authentic and delicious Thai food made by actual Thai cooks, while others express disappointment in specific dishes like the red duck curry or fried rice. The service is hit or miss, with some feeling rushed while others find the staff friendly and accommodating. The menu is extensive, with generous portions and good value for money. Despite some inconsistencies, Beau Thai remains a popular dining option for those seeking genuine Thai cuisine in a cozy setting.

Great Thai food and comfortable setting. Banquet option 2 is well worth the price. 3 starters and 3 main meals is easily enough for two people with some to take home.Food is very authentic and I can recommend the Salt Pepper Prawns they are fantastic .

Not disappointed.. I can't understand what the bad reviewers are on about but when you go to a restaurant and its full, you know they must be doing something right. I booked a table for 2 and when we arrived, we were greeted warmly and taken to our table. And when the waiter remembers your name from a previous booking in January this year, that's amazing! 2 mins later, the waiter came back and asked if we would like to move to a quieter table in the adjoining room as there was a large group at the banquet table opposite thoroughly enjoying themselves. A very thoughtful gesture. Even though they were very busy The drinks and food came in a timely manner. We had Spring rolls, Pineapple fried rice with chicken and the Special beef hot plate. Awesome!

3 of us went there for dinner tonight and all really enjoyed our meals. My satay chicken entree had very nice quality chicken but the satay sauce was not the best I've had. Having said that, I would order it again. My chicken, glass noodle and salad main was scrumptious. Service was quick and friendly. Prices for entrees were standard, but the mains were a few dollars dearer than other Thai restaurants. My other half enjoyed her Padan chicken entree and basil squid main. Our friend enjoyed his entree crispy prawns and green chicken curry. We all agreed we would like to go back to Beau Thai. It is in the Entertainment Book, which takes the edge off the highish prices.

Yum! Thai cooks working in the kitchen means you get real Thai food here, unlike a lot of the other so called Thai restaurants with food prepared by Malaysians, Chinese, etc which end up being a let down. I consider the price fair considering the dining environment, the friendly Thai service and the authentic, yummy Thai food prepared by actual Thai cooks. This review comes from someone who lived in Thailand for 8.5 years and is married to a Thai.
