The young lady that was behind the counter was ever so nice and helpful to me giving me the information I needed. Later in the afternoon I went back tobuy an Ice Cream Cake, for a young adult Male who's Birthday is today. The Man behind the counter was pleasant and helpful. I AmA Happy Customer. And I will return soon.

I noticed they had a few but I needed... read more I hardly ever write reviews but today I just had to! Walked into the store today looking for a cake for my sons 21st bday. I noticed they had a few but I needed a slightly bigger one. The owner came over and told me she could make one for me right thenand there. My son loved his cake. Thanks for making this such a memorable birthday for him. Cake was perfect!!!

We aren't big cake people but we love us a good Carvel ice cream cake. We met with the owner Cheryl about our wedding cake, and she was simply fantastic. She was excited to be part of our big day and had so many ideas for us. Cheryl is truly so kind, friendly, and enjoys what she does. Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but also DELICIOUS. We got soooooo many compliments on swapping out the traditional cake for a Carvel cake. Such a wonder experience. Highly recommend the Selden Carvel and Cheryl for any special occasion.

I'm not one of those people who expects la... read more Polite owners, so I hate to leave this review but after about 4 visits, I need to. The portions here are very skimpy. I'm not one of those people who expects large portions, but the soft serve ice cream didn't even touch the insides of the cup. And they need to thoroughly mix the flavors before serving. My pistachio ice cream was dark green in some spots and solid white in others. (It was a bad reminder of all of the artificial coloring in the ice cream. I noticed in the reviews that other Carvel locations are more generous with their portions, so I will drive the extra distance and go there instead.

However, being completely honest, it's the worst location we've visited simply because they do NOT make their cones the way Carvel is famously known for. If you are looking to get ripped off on the amount of ice cream you recieve after paying the same amount as other places, then go for it. But if you'd rather get what you pay for, which is the amount you deserve, then avoid this location at all costs. Here, at this specific location, you will pay for a large cone and receive less than the serving of a small. It was highly disappointing.
