Ferry Inn - Selby
Ferry Inn
Description
The Ferry Inn received mixed reviews from customers. Some expressed disappointment with poor service and subpar meals, while others praised the friendly staff and enjoyable atmosphere. The burger and homemade chips were highlighted as outstanding, but the steak and ale pie fell short for one reviewer. Overall, the pub offers a dog-friendly environment and excellent drink options with a cozy setting by the river. While some visitors were left feeling cheated of their money, others found it to be a lovely country pub with great food and welcoming staff.

Have to say tonight 's meal at the Ferry was the best we have had locally for some time. The Crayfish starter was superb, the Sea Bass main beautifully cooked with fantastic crispy skin and the Strawberry Stack dessert was to die for.And that was just mine!My wife 's Lamb Cutlets were superb Succulent, beautiful local lamb that was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. As to our friends Lemon Posset The presentation was inspired and it was matched by the gorgeous creamy, lemony taste. All in all a fantastic meal that would grace the table in any so called Gastro Pub .
Can't fault any aspect. Three courses each a credit to the chef and the rest of the staff. Well presented and fresh and tasty. Good pub fine dining. Great.
We had a great meal here, wonderful food even though it was a limited menu due to the chef being absent, we had a whole room to ourselves which was great and the staff were very very helpful
Visited this lovely little pub after searching for dog friendly pubs as was dog sitting for the weekend and was not disappointed. The staff were amazing and very friendly . I had an homemade sausage rolls for starter which was worth the visit alone. Then the steaks arrived which sealed the deal. All in all a great little pub with Timmy Taylor hand pumped ale. 10 outta 10
