This pub is just not a pub, its family,... read more I am a General Practitioner and this has been my Mother since I moved into Selby in 2009. I am an Indian by Orientation. This pub is just not a pub, its family, its a community. This place has seen me through the toughest of times. A lovely a game of Pool, a lovely drink, and a Nice banter and that's what you get. Elderly are respected and taken care of, Females feel safe, DRINKS ARE CHEAP, and Landlord Charlie (Who I call Lord Charles with affection), you cant beat. Best part is, and that is I some hing I can vouch as a Clinician- People come to this place, they share their happiness, sorrows and problems. We don't let down the people we Love. Its an Anchor for me and so many others. Keep going Lord Charles, Love you to bits.
