We came here after a tour by Serra da Estrela. The personal are very friendly and food was great. I recomend the codfish with broa ! Will visit again in a next visit to this village
We went there for dinner, and overall I can say it was ok. But my wife's squid were very chewey. Service was good. Attracts locals.
They have daily menus: very good and not at all expensive. Even the wine is more than ok! But... try the small rissóis, samosas, crockets, with a nice beer... wonderful. And try not to take the menu but some other (not so quick but very fresh) meals.... It's not incredibly cheap but... very good and simle food, with the tastes of the country.
I called at 7pm to make a reservation for 9h30pm. I got laughed at because they were too full , and that I would still have to wait, which wasn 't a problem to me. Got there and there were a bunch of free tables. The first waiter I asked for our table said we had to go ask some other waiter. Chicken with champions , 9€, chicken was frozen and cooked from defrost in the microwave. Champions were canned. The rice... how old was the rice? I don 't know. Even if the dish was free, I wouldn 't order it. It wasn 't that the waiters weren 't at all friendly, they mainly just didn 't know how to do they 're job. The price is really just ridiculous for what you get. I don 't recommend. They 're lucky there aren 't that many restaurants to choose from in Loriga.
