The wife didn't care for the salmon plate. I got the fried chicken plate and it was good. Will attempt come back and try a burger next time.
This place was recommended by a in town local. Tried it out order the Seguin Club and the fried cat fish off menu dish. Service was great, Seguin Club was good and the cat fish was decent but under seasoned. The reason why I gave them a 2 star is because I order the strawberry spinach salad to go. Very disappointed. Spinach, greens and 1 half cut strawberry and 2 blueberries. Nothing else. No blue cheese and hardly to no fruit on was was described. Pictures attached. Refund for the dish was
We ordered the BLT which was awesome as usual. Tea is wonderful! We also ordered their fantastic potato salad, the only critique I would offer is a bit more salt and smaller chunks. Now for some things that could use improvement.... Fries would be better made to order because ours were rubbery and cool. Fried Pickles in huge spears were difficult to eat and we probably won't order them again. Batter came off with every bite so I believe that round slices with more batter would be perfect and a
Had the catfish plate and it was excellent. I've had catfish at other places, but never as good as the one here. I will definitely come back again.
Fantastic and delicious food. Excellent service, too. The catfish was crispy, fresh and very tasty with the right amount of spices. Actually all of the plate was superb. Fresh fries and crunchy coleslaw with the right amount of creaminess. Cake slices as big as your head! Absolutely moist and delicious! Take a trip to Seguin and enjoy the food. It's very well worth it.
