I visited this restaurant during a day trip and was disappointed by the small portion sizes and the fact that the fish was mostly batter. I will not be returning and would recommend others to dine elsewhere. View all feedback.

read moreJackson’s Fish & Chips in Southport has garnered a reputation for its quality, with many praising its light, crispy batter and perfectly cooked chips. However, recent visits reveal a contrasting experience: complaints about rising prices, reduced portion sizes, and inattentive service have surfaced, leaving some long-time patrons disillusioned. While many rave about the fresh fish and cleanliness of the restaurant, others recount cold food and poorly executed dishes, indicating inconsistencies in the kitchen. For an establishment once celebrated, the divergence in dining experiences begs the question: Will Jackson’s balance its legacy with evolving standards?.
