Looked a great pub, built like a rabbit warren (said by the staff) warm beer and not accommodating at all avoid go to the river side inn instead (to avoid clickyness) View all feedback. What User likes about The Kings Head:
fantastic and quirky pub. really well designed with good rooms for dogs or people who might need a bit of space. very dog friendly. eating (only cakes and masque) is excellent with vegetarian and vegan options. if they are in cheddar and looking for a pub, I would recommend a visit! The River Side Inn is a charming old village pub, recently reopened and beautifully situated away from the crowds. The staff are described as very friendly and welcoming, with excellent service and a cozy atmosphere. The pie and mash are highlighted as outstanding, with a choice of seven pies available. The pub is dog-friendly and offers vegetarian and vegan options. Despite a few negative comments about age demographics and incorrect information on the website, overall, visitors highly recommend this hidden gem for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.
