fantastic and quirky pub. really well designed with good rooms for dogs or people who might need a bit of space. very dog friendly. eating (only cakes and masque) is excellent with vegetarian and vegan options. if they are in cheddar and looking for a pub, I would recommend a visit! read moreThe River Side Inn is a charming old village pub, recently reopened and beautifully situated away from the crowds. The staff are described as very friendly and welcoming, with excellent service and a cozy atmosphere. The pie and mash are highlighted as outstanding, with a choice of seven pies available. Despite a few negative comments about age demographics and incorrect information on the website, overall, visitors highly recommend this hidden gem for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.
