fantastic and quirky pub. really well designed with good rooms for dogs or people who might need a bit of space. very dog friendly. eating (only cakes and masque) is excellent with vegetarian and vegan options. if they are in cheddar and looking for a pub, I would recommend a visit! Came in on a Wednesday evening. The pies were amazing as were the peas and mash. The pub looked fantastic and the gent who served us was very friendly.
Stumbled upon this pub on our trip to Cheddar. Great little pub, the pie was amazing! Staff were really friendly, was a nice local pub. Would definitely visit again!
Lovely traditional 16th century pub, we were looking for somewhere to eat in Cheddar and stumbled across the website, good choice of beers, really friendly barman and the pies were filling and excellent value, would highly recommend.
Went there after a long drive on Saturday night. Both had superb pies. Lovely ale. Great choice. Went here most nights/days on our stay for a week. The Tacos were a nice snack. Ben the publican was a great host and welcoming.
