I placed the order through De... read more I ordered pad Thai noodles, as it is my favorite dish and I am new to Bridgewater and this was the only Thai restaurant available. I placed the order through Deliveroo and upon the food's arrival at the hotel where I am staying, I opened the pad Thai to find that they were all sticky square blocks of noodles without any condiments, and the smell was off. I also ordered a soup, but decided not to open it since the pad Thai was not good. I called the restaurant to request a collection of these items and a refund. The collection process went smoothly, but the restaurant suggested I call Deliveroo for the refund. When the driver arrived to pick up the food, the hotel host collected it from me and gave it to the driver. The driver then sent the host back to my room with a message, stating that she wanted to speak with me about the food. I explained that I could not come down as I was in my pajamas. The situation did not end there. A woman called me, shouting and interrupting me, accusing me of ruining their food by opening the package. I tried to explain that I needed to taste the food to know if it was good, but she continued to yell at me, claiming I had cost them £14.

When I mentioned that it was clearly dis... read more I called in late March 2022 to make a lunch reservation the following day, and was told Maliwans do not open for lunch. When I mentioned that it was clearly displayed on their website, the lady said that they do not have a website any longer, they had not paid for the website for 2 years, and that the information on the website was inaccurate. This, presumably, covers their food offerings as well, so I would check telephonically if the information is accurate. We didn't go to lunch!
