Was dumba at Alfa a mag?
This restaurant is bustling and great for families. The staff is welcoming and the food is good, although not upscale. It's easy to grab a table without a reservation, and there is plenty of parking on the nearby streets. View all feedback.

What Marilyne Macejkovic dislikes about Alfa:
No where near as good as the yarraville alfa bakehouse. Yarraville staff are nicer , Waitresses dont ignore you and you get nice food. Here its almost like its a chore to do the job. Common Galaxia , Seddon Deadly Sins and Est 1906 are much better options in the area otherwise go to yarraville alfa View all feedback.

The food was nice but there was way too much of it. The chilli eggs came in a bowl where the oil gathered in the middle/bottom which didn't look the nicest.

Was recommended by friends as good casual dining. I enjoyed the pumpkin and vegie soup of the day, while the kids shrugged the child menu and opted for the adult items! The hash browns and poached eggs looked very decadent, while the wagyu cheese burger my ten year old couldv'e fed a tribe...absolutely massive! Highly recommend for families, but keep kids away from very tempting sweets display at counter!

I arrived for a late lunch. I ordered the calamari no chips with Greek salad. The calamari arrived with some sort of flour coating (not explaining ed on the menu). The coffee I ordered never arrived. I'm eat low carb so the coating on the calendar I was off putting, I know I know I should have asked. The service was very patchy, so all round not a great experience.

With the abundance of brunch options available, many menus tend to be quite similar, featuring dishes like smashed avocado, chili scramble, and vegan bowls. However, Alfa has truly impressed me. Initially drawn in by the promise of delicious pancakes, I found myself captivated by the enticing aroma of the mushroom medley being served at the neighboring table. The chili scramble was a delightful departure from the norm - the sweetness of the tomatoes, combined with the flavors and seasoning, created a perfect balance. While the dish was a bit more liquidy than I prefer, the flavors were spot on. The hash browns were a standout, with a traditional style that I found to be incredibly tasty. The mushroom medley was a delectable mix of flavors, with just the right amount of cheese and potatoes cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning to Alfa in the future!

I have been a long-time patron of Alfa Yarraville, but I recently switched to the Seddon location due to its easier accessibility. I ordered the King Alfa as I was quite hungry and slightly hungover. The dish was fantastic and would have earned 5 stars, however, the Hash Brown was a bit cold. The bread was delicious, but I had some difficulty cutting through the crusts. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the overall food quality was good. The only downside was the waitress who spoke in a whisper.
