Had a meal here on Wednesday night for their pot and parma night and it was really nice! The parma was tasty, fresh ingredients, served with a lovely salad and crunchy chips. Had drinks on Sunday afternoon with friends and was impressed with the snack menu that is available...lots of nice nibbles we thoroughly enjoyed. I had a terrible meal at this establishment unbelievably awful.I ordered a main from menu the calamari came with a salad and chips .Looked ok however when I tasted the tomato it was off and mushy so old and salad leaves were limp.I told waiter and he brought a new batch of salad.No apology from chef!!!In this day and age no meal should have rotten tomatoes or black burned bits from fryer.Never going back ! Well, it seems that the steady transformation of Seddon has not yet reached this pub. In fact, it still seems to be caught in the working class era...
Great place for beer and watch the AFL foot. Also many T.V 's have for a bet. It serves bar food and a marquee outside for private...
We went for dinner tonight, 3 of us to catch up after work. Service was excellent and our meals delicious. Great place and busy for a week night. Highly recommend!
Basically an old man's pub. Nothing special at all, and a rather limited selection of beers. Certainly doesn't stand out.
4 of us went to the Mona Castle for lunch in the dining room on a holiday Monday. The food was excellent, but the service was very slow and carefree. I personally had the mussels as an entree, and the veal as a main, both of which were very good. The place has a nice vibe, just needs to crank up the service.
