I took my friend here for her birthday. She doesn't eat meat or dairy so I emailed ahead and asked if their famous Road Trip (6 course for $65) can be tailored to suit her (both of us). We found everyone to be very friendly. We sat at the chefs bar - always my favourite way to eat - highly recommend this as you can watch everyone work their magic as u enjoy your meal. When I thanked them for being so accomodating to... View all feedback.
What Melissa Harris doesn't like about Copper Pot Seddon:
The dining experience here was underwhelming! Lack of flavour and small portions. The manager was passive aggressive. His customer service needs improvement. Upon payment, rather than giving us the correct change, he asked us if we “wanted the change” and when we said yes, he gave us the incorrect amount. How bizarre. View all feedback.
Perfection! This was our second trip to copper pot to try the new season menu and it was just as amazing as our first trip. We literally licked the plates...
The concept is sound, exploring Europe via plates, and while some dishes were excellent, there were hits always as misses. The food opened strong, with...
And here we have a fine establishment thats broken me out of my short yelp rut. WOW. Just excellent the food, the people, the place. Come here for date...
We had dinner here to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. The staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. For a suburban restaurant, Copper Pot is at the upper end of the scale. Dinner for 3 - two courses plus a bottle of wine was $330. I'm just not sure that the suburb of Seddon is ready to pay these prices. As per the title of my review, perhaps it's just not my type of food. I am a very clean eater and the food was very rich. An example is with the sides - no salad or basic vegetables available. I ate the prawns for main and they were delicious. I ate the clams for starter and they were over cooked and chewy. Wine list is also expensive with the cheapest pinot noir being $75. We cjose the $95 bottle which was lovely. The food was tasty and well presented but I left thinking that it was a restaurant that didn't know what it was in that the cuisine style is quite confused.
Had a beautiful birthday dinner there. Recommended by the friendly and helpful staff to have the "Trip around the world"..who needs to travel? Amazing food-super friendly and helpful staff and a wine list to savour
