Was Anonym at Whiskey a mag?
Me and whisky .. Lola great place for whisky especially after a nice dinner nearby. Service was okay because my friend never got his food job. My old fashion was good. The bar has a nice low-key vibe. Overall no bad place to hang out. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Whiskey:
Will the bartender was great. Pretty entertaining to say the least. Cocktails were awesome. I recommend trying something from there cocktail menu. I ordered the patty melt. Wasn 't impressed at all. But that 's what I get for ordering food in a bar. I will return though. View all feedback.
They provide a great space for parties that's separate from the main bar. Mike is fantastic!
My wife and I dropped by for a drink on New Year’s Eve. We were promptly served, and the drinks were quite good. The Paper Plane cocktail was on par with those at other local establishments, and the Nutty Something (I can’t recall the full name) was really enjoyable. We didn't try any food, so I can't comment on that.
It was a dark and windy evening in Seattle. The kind where you had to lean *into* the wind to make some headway. My friend and I had been planning on going to (what we thought was) a place we 'd been before, near The Moore, where our concert was. That place was, in fact, not what we had expected, and did not have the cozy open vibe we were looking for. Cut to 5 minutes of frantically searching Google maps, facing away from the wind that kept pushing us off balance. I saw The Whisky Bar and we decided to give it a go. We walked in and immediately, the warmth and chill, open vibe was perfect. We looked at each other and said, Yeah. Perfect. Since we were going to a concert, we didn 't want to get anything huge, so we ended up splitting the turkey club sandwich. It was delicious, as were the fries which were deliciously crispy on the outside but fluffy inside. I got a drink (the Blackberry Bramble, I think) that, tbh didn 't taste like there was any alcohol in it. My friend helpfully pointed out that, being called The Whisky Bar, they would probably make a good Old Fashioned (I asked for a bourbon OF). She was not wrong. I asked for (and received) an extra cherry, and was delighted to find that they were Luxardo--or at least not the awful cherries the average bars utilize. The service was friendly, and prompt without hovering. Really lovely vibes and I look forward to going back, especially if there 's a show at The Moore, as it 's literally just down the street.
