Diners rave about its generous portions, particularly the pancakes and Latin-inspired dishes like the poblano pepper scramble. While many appreciate the attentive and friendly service, some review highlights note occasional service hiccups, especially during busy hours. A 20% service charge for larger groups can catch guests off guard, prompting discussions about tipping norms. Despite mixed experiences with certain menu items, the overall consensus celebrates the inviting atmosphere and quality food, making it a solid choice for brunch aficionados seeking comfort and familiarity.
The food was very good. Lemon ricotta pancakes were spot on. The eggs Benedict was good too. Large portions. Their mimosas were so so. There were different flavours but you can't really tell them apart
Yes. Everything is good. The folks here really know how to make food wonderful. The drip coffee is awesome. Service is excellent even when it's packed in and the servers are busy. Beautiful little gem full of delectables in Ballard. You won't be disappointed.
We took my sister-in-law out for a birthday breakfast at this restaurant. My wife ordered the French toast breakfast and both my sister-in-law and I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The restaurant was very clean, the waitstaff were friendly and welcoming. The food was served promptly and tasted delicious. We will definitely return whenever we are in town. Keep up the excellent work and quality!
The food was tasty, especially the pancakes, and the coffee was just right. While the restaurant may not offer anything unique, it is a great spot for brunch. The standout feature for me was the attentive and friendly service from the staff. They were welcoming and accommodating, offering suggestions for different food combinations. The atmosphere, particularly the outdoor seating, was pleasant.
This restaurant is a great spot for breakfast, as they serve it all day. We shared the ricotta pancakes, which were a must-try. They come with plenty of fruit and lemon ricotta, large enough to share between two people. I ordered the California benedict, which was delicious. They only offer regular coffee, no espressos or lattes. The staff is friendly and the dining area is open and inviting. The prices are good considering the generous portions. We had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later.
