I really liked it, but like many restaurants, needs to bring down the volume for make it possible for me and my boyfriend to actually have a good conversation. Served well for brunch, the eggs Benedict and mushroom Benedict we orders we as good, could bring out the lemon/acid and the color(tumeric? For how little it added for flavor.

I've been here many times. this time the steak was a little overgrown and the pommes. still good and a great place to eat. (This is the first time I'm taking him a 3 instead of a 4)

The restaurant boasts a lovely ambiance and a fantastic drink selection, but the food was disappointing. We tried three dishes from the small plates and entrees, along with a dessert, and found that the seasoning varied greatly. The brisket poutine was outstanding, but the other dishes we had—tuna niçoise and zucchini fritters—lacked flavor and texture. Additionally, the seasonal pound cake was presented in a confusing manner as a layer cake and was overly salty.
I've visited this restaurant many times. This time, the steak was a bit too seasoned, and the fries were as well. Nevertheless, everything was still good, and it's a fantastic place to dine. This is the first time I've rated it a 3 instead of a 4.
We had an excellent experience during our Sunday brunch! Our server, who I unfortunately can't remember the name of, was a slender guy with long curly hair, and he was fantastic. The food was wonderful, and the drinks were reasonably priced for their quality.
Love this place. The only ding I would give them, and really it isn't a big thing, is they have taxidermy on the walls. A couple mounted deer heads and some birds. I don't really care for having dead animals staring at me while I eat with my friends. Other than this little detail, probably unique to me, this is an outstanding place.

This was my second time dining at this restaurant, and while the server was fantastic, the management really needs to improve. It's unacceptable to include nuts in a salad or soup without mentioning it on the menu. Allergies are a serious matter, and the manager didn't come over to apologize at all. I'm not expecting my meal to be comped, but a simple apology or discount on one of my drinks would have been a nice gesture. I don't plan on returning anytime soon, and having worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade, I find this experience quite disappointing.
I ordered the veggie hash and eggs benedict, both of which were supposed to come with runny eggs. Unfortunately, neither dish was prepared correctly, and it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. By that time, we needed to leave and didn’t have the opportunity to reorder. When we explained the situation to our waiter and requested a discount, we were only offered 20%, even though the prices are quite high to start with. In hindsight, I should have just cooked at home and saved myself $50. I had no issues with our server; the problem seemed to stem from management.
Sadly this place has slipped way down. It used to be excellent with great service and tasty innovative takes on classic elevated pub dishes. Now its a pretentious and expensive bar with lousy food. We we're looking forward to trying the duck confit poutine. It was an inedible over salted cold glob of goo. Greasy and not in the way duck fat can be luscious but in a cold congealed way. The fish and chips also arrived cold. Another greasy and mushy inedible mess. We were unable to get the servers attention and after 10 minutes of waiting tried to eat it anyway. 3 more dishes arrived late and sporadically 1 evey 5 minutes or so. Each more revolting than the next. The plates stacked up with 75 of the servings still on the plates littering the table with the remains of all the **** of which we couldn't bare to take another bite. Nobody noticed. Or cared. When we finally askef to speak to the manager We were met with a blase and unapologetic attitude that suggests that this type of thing happens all the time.. And i'm sure it does. There are literally a dozen or so restaurant serving great elevated pub grub within 2 miles of this place. Avoid this one at all cost. It's awful and no one cares. Least of all the kitchen staff who should be ashamed of sending out this Food which compares to sub par prison slop.
We really loved the space and the staff was wonderful, however our food took over 30 minutes to arrive even though there was only one other family seated for brunch. The food was unfortunately hit and miss, my husband's steak sandwich was delicious but the fries were super salty my vegetable hash was undercooked. The staff was very apologetic and didn't charge us for it but it wasn't edible. They did offer us a free drink but we had a cranky toddler and had to leave. Hope to give them another shot, it seemed like they were genuinely trying their best.
Best burger in Seattle! I’ve been hearing good things about Smith so I had to come try it for myself. When it comes to food I’m a picky eater and this place just made the top of my chart? I had the smith burger and it was perfect! The burger was great and cooked to a perfect medium rare with a side of Mac and cheese (you can not go wrong with this combo?? . I was speaking to the owner and he told me to come back sometime in the morning to try their brunch menu (I’ll definitely come back to try that the owner was really nice and very accommodating, he made me and my friends feel welcomed. The restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere, I can see myself coming here after a long day of work and just enjoy a nice drink with some delicious food!

I recently had brunch with a friend and it was an excellent experience! We sat at the bar, and our bartender was incredibly friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the Hot Buttered Rum! Every item on the menu is thoughtfully crafted. This is a fantastic spot to check out.
For appetizers, we had the Deviled Eggs, which were incredible! The addition of mustard seeds was a delightful touch—highly recommended! The Burrata Salad was also fantastic; the burrata was creamy and delicious, and the seasoning of the salad was superb. The Salmon Tartare was fresh and very tasty. As for the main courses, the Fried Chicken Sandwich is a must-try! I loved it—crispy and flavorful! The sweet potato fries were a great substitution and made for a wonderful choice. The Fish Tempura was amazing; the batter was crispy and tasty, and the fish inside was juicy—definitely one of the best fried fish dishes I’ve had in a long time. However, the Paella, which I was excited about as someone from Spain, was a bit disappointing. While it was good, there were too many clam shells, and for some reason, it was quite spicy—I wouldn’t order it again. For dessert, the Fried Banana was perfection! Crispy yet soft, and the coconut milk paired wonderfully with it. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
We stopped by for a quick snack during happy hour. The poutine was fantastic. The deviled eggs were visually appealing, but the earthy flavor was a bit too strong for my taste. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was friendly.
Steak and eggs was outstanding! Potatoes delicious. Order a side of toast! Friendly bar tender hooked me up with necessary phone charger as I sat at bar alone. She made good conversation and brought be perfectly cooked breakfast.
Love the place the food and atmosphere. The management is above exceptional, and close and personal with all the customers, the food very ,very good quality a well presented and prepared also the servers are great and pleaseing and attentive. We did the brunch and the pomomagranit mimosa was great sweet With a touch of tart) and they have a great tasting coffee, 'well we are in Seattle ' lol. The steak and eggs , to die for and if you 're feeling a little risky there 's the Eggs in Pergatory, poched eggs in a mini skillet serrounded lightly Turkish spiced stewed tomatoes and toasted oval sliced artisan Baggett bread. To top it all the atmosphere and decor is Fun and rustic and casual and the trendy music too. I give them 4 thumbs up.
