We went to Single Shot for dinner, and ended up sharing two entries New York Strip and Gnocchi. Both were amazing! Single Shot is a true gem, the servers were great, the food was amazing and the whole experience was wonderful. The menu has enough variety that you can keep coming back (we sure will) and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommended! This restaurant is a hidden gem, perfect for a romantic date night. The food is consistently unique and wonderful every time I have been there.
I had a fantastic time at Single Shot for Sunday brunch with my daughter. We also ran into two of our neighbors who were also enjoying brunch. I have been dining at Single Shot for a decade and always have a great meal.
We had the best experience dining at single shot! We made a reservation to celebrate our friend’s bachelorette and the staff went all out for us. We felt so taken care of and the food was amazing. Would recommend, 10/10!
A real gem in Capitol Hill. The food was fantastic and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience.
Loved taking my Dad here for Sunday brunch on Father's Day. He is always a little sensitive to loud noise in restaurants but we both loved the material on the walls that seemed to absorb some of the noise from the music and other guests. The food was creative but also simple. Service was fantastic, too. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Small and cozy. It's been a while since I've been here before today, but food consistently good every time I go. If you're driving, parking can be a bit of a challenge. Great service.
My first time to eat there. Food and service was Amazing! Friendly management and staff! The ribeye steak was so tender and tasty! We ordered several appetizers and they ALL were so delicious and presented so pretty too ! Wine and desserts were also fabulous! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to all!
Great service and amazing decor ambience. Five of us reserved a table, and the hostess was very kind and accommodating. Food was not too surprisingly delicious, but nicely presented. Perfect for a date, or intimate small group hang-out. Would give 4.5 stars since I was expecting to see more variety on the menu

Exquisite food with great presentation. The cocktails were strong and unique. The food menu isn't very broad but everything is so delicious it more than makes up.

What a wonderful experience. had dinner tonight, a good friend from san francisco. from the moment we opened the door, nothing would have been more perfect. service was excellent. she had a great demon and read our table well. not only was the service excellent, but also personally. she made extra steps to get involved and made the whole evening seem like we were in a well-loved friendly house and not in a restaurant. eating was fantastic. I could go on and on over the porch. boiled perfectly and full of taste that only through the beautiful, sexy pinot noir that we with it. the room and the facility are beautiful and add the perfect compliment to a very tasty meal served by the friendly service. I have been in single shot many times and I am always of how gracious the service, the amazing eating and the ambiente of the restaurant offers every time.
I love this place! Everything is was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The host was aware that i was there for anniversary drinks and brought me to my requested seats. The burrata was absolutely FANTASTIC and so were the cocktails. Amazing service and ambience. I was there on a Tuesday evening so it was fairly quiet until about 7pm and then it was packed. My recommendation is to go on the earlier side! The menu was amazing. I would go back there just to try brunch.
We live just down the street and love this place for date nights. The scallops were beautiful as was my rack of lamb. We always have the crab asparagus and could just eat that for dinner. Our server was fun and didn’t mind us being goofy!!

We booked last minute so the only seats available were at the bar, but the service was great there, cocktails to start were excellent. We got a flatbread for appetizer and it was crisp but the toppings were cooked perfectly and it wasn’t too filling. My date had the risotto, I had the steak, and the steak with mushrooms was incREDIBLY delicious. Took home the lemon tart for dessert and ate all of it in one sitting, too good
