I had a wonderfully delicious traditional Taiwanese braised ground pork over rice bowl, and I must say, it was impressive! The portion size was generous for just $6. UPDATE: My initial experience with the beef noodle soup was off; it seemed like I got a less-than-great batch. However, after trying a friend's order, I found it much more flavorful and would be willing to get it again. The noodles were cooked well this time, much better than my first experience. When I inquired about the type of noodles used in the soup at the counter, the staff was unable to provide an answer. They asked their coworkers, but still couldn't clarify whether the noodles were egg or rice, thick or thin. I'm not sure if there was a language barrier, but it would be helpful for staff to communicate about the food or at least have the types of noodles labeled on the menu board. Additionally, I found the broth to be lacking in flavor—there was no saltiness, which I wasn't expecting. Some noodles were clumped together during cooking, resulting in a few undercooked pieces. Also, it seems they are often out of the five-spice chicken. **Pros:** - The braised pork over rice is excellent. - Food is served quickly. **Cons:** - Staff may struggle with English when answering questions about the menu. - WiFi is unavailable and mobile data reception is spotty in the restaurant. - The five-spice chicken is frequently out of stock.
This place offers really tasty, quick-service Taiwanese food. The service is great, the dishes are authentic, the prices are fair, and the portions are generous. I particularly enjoyed the spiced pork stew over rice, the homemade dumplings, and the pork chop bento box. I highly recommend it for a casual and delicious meal.
The bento boxes are great and full meals. The buns are a bit pricy but worth it. My go-to options are the fried chicken and the pork stew over rice
