Nestled in Ballard, this Italian restaurant observes a blend of enchanting ambiance and attentive service, perfect for family gatherings or date nights. Guests have raved about delectable dishes, from fresh pasta to indulgent desserts like tiramisu and crème brûlée. However, several reviews reveal inconsistencies in food quality, including small portions and unremarkable flavors, leading to disappointment, especially with high prices. Was Anonym at Picolinos a mag?
beautiful surroundings...Cimplete with bed linen. sitting outdoors with beautiful fabrics, fires, music and wonderful staff. eating was delicious and the menu is varied. many customers dressed for a special evening added to the environment. (yes, there were also some who wore denim, including me, but overall everyone looked suitable for this beautiful place.) it was an unforgettable evening. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Picolinos:
The “special” butter lettuce salad had very little lettuce and the other ingredients were barely detectable. All for $14. Ling cod “special” was mushy fish and a sauce that was just tired, obviously not freshly prepared. Chicken Marsala did not taste like Marsala. Pizza had almost no sauce and even less flavor. The 2017 wine we ordered turned out to be 2019, no explanation and no price adjustment. View all feedback.
This restaurant is a hidden neighborhood gem that offers delicious Italian cuisine. The food is top-notch and there are multiple dining options available. You can choose to dine in the elegant dining room, on the enclosed patio for outdoor dining on colder days, or in the beautiful backyard during the summer. I highly recommend putting this restaurant on your list of must-try locations. You won't be disappointed!
Ristorante Picolinos is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. It may even be my top choice. I wish I still lived in Sunset Hill so I could easily walk to the restaurant on 32nd Ave NW and NW 65th Street. The service here is always excellent, thanks to Raphael. The food is authentic and fabulous, with a wide variety of options like fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza, ozzo bucco, herbed chicken, seafood pasta, and crisp salads. And let's not forget about the croissants - they are the best in town! I have tried croissants all over Seattle and Ristorante Picolinos truly has the best. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like them. You have to try one for yourself. I might just head over there now for a buttery croissant and a delicious latte from their cafe bakery. I'm happy to see that they are expanding their back patio area. If I still lived nearby, I would be a regular customer. Congratulations, Ristorante Picolinos!
The service at this restaurant was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The Dungeness Crab Ravioli was amazing - filled with an abundance of crab in homemade ravioli, and topped with a delicious cream sauce. We had a wonderful evening on the back patio with my colleagues.
The most charming Italian restaurant in Ballard! The atmosphere is lovely and romantic, but also very family-friendly for large gatherings. I recently had my...
