In the heart of Ballard lies a restaurant that captures the spirit of Southern cuisine, offering patrons a delightful yet variable dining experience. Guests rave about the flavorful fried chicken and substantial Po Boys, complemented by refreshing craft cocktails. While some dishes shine, like the mac and cheese and gumbo, others, such as the collard greens and dessert options, fall short of expectations. Service is generally attentive, although some patrons experienced lapses in promptness. The charming atmosphere, combined with a cozy patio, makes it an attractive spot, especially during warmer months. Nevertheless, diners caution about inconsistent food quality and pricing concerns.

What User dislikes about Parish Nw:
One of the best dinners I've had in Ballard recently! The staff was great, the drinks were excellent, and the food was delicious and served promptly. I'm disappointed that I waited so long to check this place out, and I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes I missed this time! View all feedback.

This is a Great place! We popped in randomly and had a delicious culinary journey starting with the delicious wedge salad and catfish bites, from. There we had crawfish etoufe, pork chop, and fried chicken along with potato salad and Mac N cheese sides. Everything was delicious! Our Favorites were Mac N cheese, catfish bites and fried chicken.
Really tasty dishes, great service, lovely spot to observe the Sunday farmers market while eating brunch. Most plates were a nice size portion. Some thing seemed rather overpriced for the plate size, such as the collard greens
What a charming place for a weekday evening meal! We came a bit early (6:30) and scored a beautiful table in the front window. Our server was brilliant, and recommended a craft cocktail (a classic milk punch, but, no, it was not milky) that was the perfect zingy counterpart to the rich, spicy food. My partner had the fried chicken, some of the best we 've ever tasted. The chicken and sausage gumbo was respectable—what you 'd expect for an upscale Cajun place and ideal on a cold, rainy night. The generous mac-and-cheese side dish with 5 cheeses and smoked paprika came off as too smokey for me—next time I 'm going with the fried catfish bites we saw being delivered to nearby by table. The playlist (indie country rock) was just the right level to be an atmospheric backdrop to conversation.
