When we walked in, we stood directly in front of the register where the hostess was, but she didn't acknowledge us for at least 5 minutes. We should have left at that point, but we decided to stay. It took multiple tries to get our waitress's attention and order a drink. This was by far the worst service I have ever experienced. Additionally, the food was not worth the price we paid. We have no plans to come back to this restaurant.

Even with the live entertainment... read more Interesting that this review asked about noise. I don't like, and don't seek out noisy restaurants. Pacific Room is not noisy. Even with the live entertainment you can still converse. I have eaten there several times and Pacific Room has had consistently VERY good food, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the music is terrific. I recommend this restaurant highly!!

I r... read more My only experience with this restaurant was the wonderful smell of the food. I had made a reservation through OpenTable for a Valentine's Day dinner at 7pm. I responded positively to the confirmation email from OpenTable. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6:55, we were informed that our reservation was not on their system and there were no available tables. The hostess apologized briefly without giving an explanation for why our confirmed reservation was not honored. They did not make any effort to rectify the situation, making me feel like our business was not valued. The food smelled delicious and the atmosphere seemed enjoyable, so I may recommend this place to others for a casual visit, but not for special occasions like date nights or birthdays. Perhaps it would be better to visit on a walk-in basis.
