Was Frankie at Osprey Bistro a mag?
Stopped into this bistro on a whim. So glad we did. Excellent, excellent food. We had the pork chop, burger and a side of fries. The fries were excellent, crispy and fresh. The burger was juicy and very flavorful. The aioli was very light but delicious. But the pork chop was the clear star of the night. So tender and juicy and the sauce its served with was delicious. Overall, the food, atmosphere, drinks and service... View all feedback.
What Ash Garmire dislikes about Osprey Bistro:
Literally the owner is gross grabbing food an then taking things off the sandwich an eating it when the food was our .. Also the owners being super stoned or drunk while working is kinda even worse.. like owners stumbling around isn't professional ..Had to ask for refund cause he never washed his hands while touching our food at the same time touching everything else in the kitchen View all feedback.
We absolutely love this place! From being able to see into the kitchen to the friendly staff, everything is just wonderful. The food and drinks are simply fantastic. My husband and I don’t come here nearly enough, but each time we do, we comment on what a great experience we’ve had. It’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The seating is cozy and quiet, and when music is playing, it’s always interesting and pleasant. The menu is fresh and creative, and the staff has been very accommodating regarding our food allergies, especially with dairy-free and gluten-free options. It’s an ideal spot for a casual date or meeting a friend for coffee.
However, I am giving this place 3 stars instead of 5 for several reasons: 1. The salmon appeared to be farmed, and I couldn't tell if it was fresh or previously frozen. 2. There were no prices displayed or communicated to us prior to ordering. 3. The fries were overcooked in some areas. 4. The meal was extremely overpriced for four sandwiches of farmed salmon and two bowls of fries. 5. We ended up paying $130 for just two orders of fries and four 5-inch sandwiches! 6. We never received a receipt; I was told they were out of receipt paper and that I would get an email receipt, which I never did receive. 7. The portion of salmon was quite small—around a pound or so—roughly priced at $10 per pound, along with a side of fries. Overall, while the service was nice, the value for money was lacking.

Overall, the food, atmosphere, drinks and service was excellent. Choose from indoor or outdoor seating. The drinks were a little pricey, but they were delicious i got the lemonade (alcholic beverage) and my boyfriend had an old fashion. I cannot rave about this place enough. We will definitely be back.
Never got food. Never even offered a menu. We walked in and someone appeared to be working on the cash register to fix it. We waited about 5 minutes to figure out what to do. During this time, nobody greeted us besides a beautiful dog (the highlight of the visit, five stars to the dog) that came over from who we thought was a patron. They turned out to be the owner Shane and his employees or friends? We couldn 't tell what was going on. Finally Shane got up from his table and said 'I like to run the place like we are all hanging out at my place. ' He was clearly drunk/trashed and possibly high. He informed us he lived in Burien and let us sit down. Then he left us with no menu and no information for how we were supposed to order. Not even a water cup. We waited a few minutes and the open kitchen filled with smoke. They didn 't have the hood fans on. A couple at the end of the room looked confused about the whole experience as well. We ended up leaving after about 10 minutes of confusion, tension, and smoke. I wish we could have tried the food since most reviews are good. Maybe order online and eat at home? Also the owner was petting the dog and then going into the kitchen and touching stuff without washing his hands. So maybe don 't go.... Such an uncomfortable experience.
