Best coffee espresso in Seattle, and, therefore, perhaps the best coffee anywhere. This spot is a step back in time in the best way possible. A community spot where you run into friends and neighbors. View all feedback.

Lighthouse is simply the best. I come here often, and most of the time with my dog, who pulls me inside because he knows he’ll get a treat and will be well taken care of by the incredible team. The coffee is incredible, and the humans who run Lighthouse are even better.

We've been enjoying coffee from Lighthouse for several years now, and the quality is consistently exceptional. We're quite particular about our coffee, and this local coffee shop never disappoints. The customer service is outstanding as well, whether we're visiting in person or ordering online.
As a home coffee roaster, I find it challenging to enjoy a great cup of coffee anywhere other than my own kitchen—I'm not a fan of coffee-flavored milk or overly hot flavored water. However, I will definitely return to Lighthouse whenever I'm in the area! It's just a short bus ride from UW on the 44 line.
We arrived toward the end of the day when it was less crowded. We ordered an iced latte, and it was delicious! The flavor of the latte was incredibly smooth, rich, and full of texture, even with the addition of milk. I personally loved it. We sat inside and savored our drinks while noticing that the shop roasts its own coffee beans. We also saw various coffee-making equipment and accessories, which was a nice touch. It's wonderful to see a business owner not only serving excellent coffee but also roasting their own beans. I highly recommend this coffee shop, even though its name may not be as recognizable as Starbucks or other popular chains. The owner clearly puts a lot of effort into creating and serving quality coffee to their customers.
We bought their Kenya Ethiopia and Regular beans for home and family and are very happy with the smoothness and freshness of this coffee.I also had their mocha and wife had Americano and we both enjoyed the coffee. The grinding machines in the back can be seen and create a unique experience for the visitor.

The coffee here is excellent. They were kind enough to give me a glimpse of the roasting process and answered all my questions.
You can always count on getting a great drink from Lighthouse—it's an essential part of my coffee routine in Seattle!
