Tofu foie gras—everything perfectly timed. The name is short but memorable. The pickled vegetable appetizer was excellent. Honestly, not a single bad bite. The rave reviews about the soba are well-deserved.

Amazing local restaurant with great service and delicious food. The quality of food is amazing and everyone was hospitable. Small business, but we have some cook counter seating by 10 minutes before opening and looking into the kitchen was funny. You have a second restaurant/bar two doors over, which serves some great love and has a cute terrace.

Amazing Soba and Tempura! Really? Japanese, but with a twist on some articles. The Soba has the perfect strength. The tempura is so light and crispy. And the dessert? I could? ve had a few of them if I could. Overall super high-quality ingredients so well cooked. Recommend reservations. In any case, will go back!

My wife and I were lucky enough to snag a table and enjoy a variety of the food from their menu. The presentation and arrangement of each bite was carefully thought out and purposeful. Each item we tried was unique and delicious. Definitely wanting to stop back in again soon!

All right! We arrived at 5 pm on a Friday and there was a waiting period of 30 minutes just enough to go to her sister Bar Hannyatou and get a sparkling Yuzu cocktail. Back in Kamonegi we landed with the iberico pork Katsu, tempura squash, two types of dive soba (cream of morel and the signature duck, and finished with tempura Oreos and matcha rocky street. All were good, but my favorites were the squash, cream of morel (a tad more tasteful IMO than the duck! and Matcha Rocky Road. They also give you some soba water (pasta water to thin your diving broth and drink it after the noodles are gone.

As a vegetarian, I visited this restaurant with three other vegetarians and we were all able to choose from a variety of dishes. They offer a selection of veggie sobas, both hot and cold, which is fantastic! I deducted one star because the food is quite expensive for what it is. While I'm glad I tried it, I probably wouldn't return due to the high prices. Additionally, there is no air conditioning so it's best to avoid going on hot days. I recommend making reservations in advance. Street parking is available. Overall, the vegetarian options were tasty, but the value for food is not great as it is too expensive.

Phenomenal service and atmosphere. The seasonal soba dish was fantastic, Cream of Black Trumpet Mushroom. Had it with a side of fried mochi. It was so incredible that i wanted to recommend it to nearby tables that were just sitting down to eat.Food: 5/5

The noodles at this restaurant are top-notch. The food is incredibly tasty, but on the pricey side. The building seems to have been repurposed from its original use, but unfortunately lacks proper ventilation. I visited on a warm day and found the dining area to be uncomfortably hot, making me sweat throughout my meal. It's worth noting that a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Overall, I give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.

Was excited to eat at this Asian owned, women owned restaurant. This place is known for their soba. There are dipping so as, cold sobas, and hot sobas. So, there is something for everyone. The service was amazing. Our host provided us with great suggestions on what to eat and how much to order. We felt very welcomed. We tried a few apps that were mouthwatering. I could eat that okra dish all day long. The duck meatballs were phenomenal. This place is vegetarian and vegan friendly. A reservation is recommended if you want to get into this small space but it's such a chill and welcoming vibe.

Amazing soba and tempura! It’s authentic Japanese but with a twist on some items. The soba has the perfect firmness. The tempura is so light and crispy. And the dessert… so good I could’ve had a few of them if I could. Overall super high qualityingredients cooked so well. Recommend making reservations. Definitely will be going back!

Very small cramped restaurant but their food and service makes up for it. We ordered many different foods from the menu and every single one of them were flat out amazing. Especially all of their soba noodles, tempura and ducks were exceptionallygood. All the employees were very attentive, polite and helpful. Highly recommend. I would definitely go back

Even though we reserved for 8:30pm on a Tuesday, we weren't seated for 10 minutes because the table before us was not cleared. Not much of an issue, but still a little annoying since we tried extra hard to be on time. We had kamon-nanban as well as thepork dipping sauce soba. The soba was delicious, broth for the nanban was really good and the broth for the dipping sauce sobawas sweet. You actually get warm water to dilute the dipping sauce so you can drink it like a soup after you're done thenoodles. The nanban came with a few slices of duck and some leek. I added mushrooms and a sous vide egg which made it all themore delicious. The foie gras tofu was pretty good. The wasabi really elevated the dish broth. Would get it again. We also gotthe seasonal sardine dish which was very good as well, probably my favourite in the night. Good mixture of flavors and thepurée was tasty.
