Was Yu WU at Homegrown a mag?
I recently tried a chicken pesto sandwich at Homegrown and really liked it. The ingredients were fresh and tasty, and the bread was delicious as well. The portion size was a bit small for the price, but considering the location is popular with tourists, I think it's still reasonable. The ordering process at the restaurant was self-service, which was a bit unusual but surprisingly efficient. View all feedback.
What Alyssa Poletti dislikes about Homegrown:
Honestly, underwhelming. Homegrown is engaging in union busting. Most of the stores are a price point even beyond the typical cap hill tech bro. There are better local places to shop that don't break the bank. View all feedback.
Hey, rat kitchen, why do your tomatoes taste like cleaning chemicals? Do you guys hate money and being open?Wonder what the BBB would think of a rat kitchen serving bad produce as well. Probably not a vary good look I'd say.
Delicious, fresh, full of really natural and rejuvenating ingredients. Part of a nice little dining precinct and inspired me to dine and consume more
Today was my first time trying Homegrown. I ordered a Turkey BLT $16) and it was bizarrely flavorless. It comes with a garlic aioli, which was surprisingly tasteless. I also can't taste the cheese on the sandwich, so I think they should consider using a different cheese, and the bacon was all fat. I had to take the entire piece of bacon off my sandwich. Perhaps if they cook the bacon a little longer it would be edible? I will say, the sandwich was packed with Turkey, so if that's your thing you'll get a good amount of protein for your buck. Turkey and bread are the cliffs-notes of this menu item.
Reviewing the mall itself, not the stores inside. It's pretty compact and there isn't much seating, but the aesthetic is interesting.
