The ambiance is pleasant, but it's not the ideal place for a quick coffee, even though the staff is efficient. My flat white was under-extracted and a bit watery. The empanadas took some time to arrive, but they ended up being quite delicious.
During my quest to find the best coffee shops in Seattle, I stopped by Fulcrum, which turned out to be a wonderful place to unwind with a book while enjoying a tasty breakfast sandwich and their house coffee. They offer a rotating selection of enticing coffee roasts, and they never disappoint (today's highlight was a roast from Myanmar). The sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich came on a fresh, buttery, and flaky biscuit, perfectly complemented by just the right amount of gravy. I highly recommend visiting Fulcrum the next time you’re in the neighborhood.
The atmosphere was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Lychee Hibiscus soda and the iced coffee. I also appreciated the stylish glasses they used to serve the drinks.
This local coffee roaster is amazing! The Guatemalan coffee is absolutely exceptional. The baristas are skilled, though they might not know all the tasting notes thoroughly. The pastries are nice, but they don’t quite match the quality of the coffee. Plus, it’s a dog-friendly café, so you can bring your furry friend along!
The coffee at this restaurant is fantastic, and the food is genuinely tasty (the music is enjoyable too). However, the service needs significant improvement; it feels somewhat chaotic and indifferent. They don’t take names to track orders, choosing instead to either shout or mumble when the food is ready. When I asked about the half of my order that was missing after I had ordered two coffees and two small breakfasts, I was told, “Someone probably took it.” Overall, while Fulcrum is a nice place, there's certainly room for enhancement.
