Stopped by the store today and packed pair of gift boxes from assortment chocolate- 6 pieces $16.95. The staff is super friendly and beautiful, they have good knowledge of each piece of chocolate and they can describe exactly and vividly to the taste. The hand took all chocolate and packed gift boxes one by one. I had good experiences in the store and like other critics said it was quite expensive. View all feedback.
What Miss Miss doesn't like about Fran's Chocolates Downtown:
The store is really small . Not as good selection as what they have at Whole Foods if you are looking for a gift . If your looking for a single truffle but not for a gift box . $17 for a box of four truffles. The service is good . View all feedback.

At first, I would like to say that I would always walk directly in this place for JAHRE; too beautiful, probably overestimated, too expensive for me. Let me say now, I can sometimes be so wrong. I saw this place in an episode of How It's Made where they talked about candy. This lady knows what she does!! If you want to shed the calories, why not get the best? I also have a dark chocolate bar that I have not yet tried, but I am so excited because the site said they were sold out, they are not people! I always hold a bar of dark chocolate in my handbag, break pieces and savor them as needed. It's medicine for me. I currently eat an almond gold bite and dayum, its amazing experience. Usually I don't like caramel, it's too sweet and it hurts my teeth, but these are perfect every way. Oh yes, I have three different high-quality products, the best 16 dollars I have ever spent! The staff were incredibly friendly and friendly, the guy at this checkout gave me a free caramel on the way!! I may be a nerd, but I also love a pretty bag! Update 10/4/2022- I have now tried the PureBar 68% Dominican Dark Chocolate and I passed to my old reliable purse treasure, Theo 70% Dark Chocolate, so I gave them a side-by-side comparison and taste test. I declare Theo as winner at least for my own taste buds. Fran's is darker and shiny, but it has a less desirable aftertaste. Both have a rather similar mouth feeling. Theo is 2% darker, but maybe his source of her beans?! I just know Theo has this warm, almost cinnamon finish for me, that's just beautiful. But I will return to Frans for Caramels and this is their specialty at all.
The way the chocolate melts in your mouth and attention to the flavor balance really shows the high quality of Fran's. The staff is very helpful in everything you need to have questions. It is on the pricier side, but if you want to treat yourself, then this is the place!
Knowledgeable staff mixed with delicious organic chocolates! They are well versed in allergens and happy to help find the right mixture of treats. My one issue was with the espresso being a bit on the blond side, but that is just preference, and my preference is quite dark. It was not bad, and also not super blonde, kinda medium for me.
Gourmet chocolate shop across the Seattle Art Museum. Came here in the afternoon and there was no line. Masks are required. Credit cards are accepted. No public restrooms available. The store is connected to the Four Seasons lobby, so you can drink your hot chocolate in their lobby (you can?t drink it in Fran?s). Came here to buy some presents as well as try the drinking chocolate. The employee who assisted us was not particularly helpful she didn?t greet us when we walked into the store, didn?t offer to answer any questions or provide any recommendations, and told us that the menu was ?basic? when we told her that we wanted to take a look at the drink options. It made for a rather uncomfortable experience. The chocolate itself was good and you do get a free sample. The chocolate caramels seemed to be the most popular offering. The truffles I got did keep well over two days when I flew back to LA and gave them to my friends. Frans does offer online orders with shipping.
