Knowledgeable staff mixed with delicious organic chocolates! They are well versed in allergens and happy to help find the right mixture of treats. My one issue was with the espresso being a bit on the blond side, but that is just preference, and mypreference is quite dark. It was not bad, and also not super blonde, kinda medium for me.

The way the chocolate melts in your mouth and the close attention to flavor balance really shows the high quality of Fran's. Staff is very helpful with anything you need to have questions about. It is on the pricier side but if you want totreat yourself then this is the place!

Stopped by the store today and grabbed couple gift boxes of assortment chocolate- 6 pieces $16.95. The staff are super friendly and nice, they have good knowledge of each piece of chocolate and they can describe accurately and vividly on the tastes. Theyhand picked all chocolate and wrapped gift boxes one by one. I had good experience in the store and like other reviewers said,it is fairly expensive.

For years, I always walked right past Fran’s, thinking it was too fancy, probably overrated, and too expensive for me. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I first noticed Fran’s on an episode of How It’s Made that featured candy, and it’s clear this place really knows its craft! If you’re going to indulge, why not choose the best? I also picked up a dark chocolate bar, which I haven’t tried yet, but I’m thrilled because their website said they were sold out—guess not! I always keep dark chocolate in my purse, breaking off pieces to savor as needed. It’s like medicine to me. Right now, I’m enjoying an Almond Goldbite and wow, it’s incredible. Normally, I avoid caramel because it’s too sweet and hurts my teeth, but these are perfect in every way. I bought three high-quality items for just $16—the best money I’ve spent in a long time! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and the cashier even gave me a free caramel on my way out. I might be a bit of a nerd, but I also love a pretty bag! I’ll definitely be back soon. Update 10/4/2022: I’ve now tried the PureBar 68% Dominican Dark Chocolate and compared it side-by-side with my trusty Theo 70% Dark Chocolate. For my taste buds, Theo wins. Fran’s bar is darker and shinier but has an aftertaste I’m not crazy about. Both have a similar mouthfeel. Theo is 2% darker, but maybe it’s the bean source? Theo has a warm, almost cinnamon-like finish that I love. I’ll definitely return to Fran’s for their caramels, though—that’s where they truly shine!

I stopped here while out touring because, well, how many people can walk past a chocolate shop and not have a look?! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They informed me that this was a female, locally owned shop, which I just lovedto hear. They weren't too pushy at all and allowed me freedom to walk around and make my selections even though I was the onlyone in there. They included a free sample with my purchases, which I ate on the way out the door. It was so good I nearlyturned around to buy more stuff! After I got home, I had a wonderful reminder of my trip. I highly recommend this place. Thechocolate is really yummy!
