Nestled in Capitol Hill, this restaurant offers a charming atmosphere and a menu with thoughtful selections. While the food is generally above average, with highlights like gluten-free options and notable coffee, some patrons feel it doesn't live up to the hype, noting small portions and pricing on the higher side. The attentive staff contribute to a lively ambiance, complemented by enticing dishes such as blueberry pancakes and innovative cocktails. However, inconsistencies in service and long wait times for takeout have been reported. Overall, it's a delightful spot for brunch, but expectations should be tempered.

The brunch atmosphere is amazing, and the food is top-notch! While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies it. The blueberry pancakes are particularly tasty. The barista excels at making lavender lattes and crafting delicious cocktails. If you're looking for top-quality dishes, this is the place to go. What Jeanna Hamilton dislikes about Finch Pine:
Disappointing... The restaurant did not live up to my expectations based on the photos. I was hoping for a more elevated brunch experience but instead got plain diner food. While I appreciate the gluten free options, I would recommend saving your money and making your own eggs on toast at home instead. View all feedback.

This restaurant is overpriced for the quality of the food. The pancakes were burnt and we didn't notice until we got home as it was takeout. The breakfast crepe was bland with the only seasoning coming from the pre-made vegan bacon. Overall, nothing special about the food. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Placed a takeout order. Only received half of my items, and was charged for everything and Tip. Horrible and slow service and everything is wildly overpriced. They also don’t have a phone number so you can’t contact them or do anything about
We came in for a spot of breakfast on a Friday morning since it's a short walk away from our apartment. The cafe itself is really quite lovely and in a nice quiet spot. The food was just ok I expected a little more from the scrambled eggs (maybe a sprinkle of chives? but the sourdough was quite nice. The coffee is also just ok.The olive bread that comes with the veggie breakfast is really good. I think overall the food just misses the mark.
