I have been to both their food truck in Ballard and their brick and mortar in Capitol Hill, both amazing. The Capitol Hill location is so cute. Dough Joy makes my favorite donuts in all of Seattle! (especially the mango con Chile!! Everything they make is vegan (sidenote: I am not vegan) and so delicious. The thing I like most about Dough Joy is their exciting flavors and the knowledge that if a donut says it is supposed to be a certain flavor, you will certainly taste that flavor. No hint of flavor Additionally, the donuts are not too sweet (even though some of them look it) and they play around with a lot of sweet and savory combinations. Their drinks are also amazing! (definitely recommend the raspberry mocha!! The staff is lovely. Be sure to follow them on instagram to be in the know about the flavors and if/when they sell out. Highly recommend Dough Joy, can't wait to see what they do next!

The staff... read more I had the most amazing donut experience at Doughjoy! I discovered this gem through a gluten free Seattle Facebook group and I am thrilled that I did. The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet, the ambiance was charming, and the donuts were absolutely adorable. What's even better is that they are vegan, making them a great option for those with gluten and dairy sensitivities. They have a selection of regular donuts on display at the front, but keep the gluten free options separate to avoid any cross-contamination. I picked up some gluten free donuts for myself and a dozen regular ones to share with my coworkers. Everyone at my workplace loved them! The gluten free donuts had a variety of delicious flavors, with my favorite being the lemon. The staff helped me choose a perfect assortment of regular donuts for my coworkers, and even included one that supported a local black owned business. The owners are very active on social media and seem like wonderful people. The staff genuinely seemed happy to be there. There is parking available next to their Capitol Hill location, as well as nearby garages. Thank you Doughjoy for bringing so much joy into my life!
