Copperleaf, located in a hotel near the airport, offers a quality dining experience with exceptional food and a cozy atmosphere. The small, carefully curated menu features expertly cooked dishes such as scallops and Wagyu beef, complemented by an extensive wine list. While some dishes like the wild mushroom Tagliatelle were underwhelming, the overall experience is elevated by great service. Special occasions are well-catered to, with staff accommodating requests for flowers and champagne. Despite a few minor issues, Copperleaf is a must-visit for those seeking a memorable dining experience in the Seattle area.
The restaurant is beautiful and I really enjoyed the ambiente. the small green salad had very bitter green in it. our escapes were delicious (hallibut and huh,) but the portions are very small.
Good food and slow service. not sure whether understaffed and the service was slow and inefficient. I think eating was over price for what was received.
Nice setting and good service, but I was very disappointed at the food I ordered. cheese appetizer had 4 very thin slices of a kind of cheese that was just okay. the companion-condiment was delicious, but instead of nuts crostini, how advertised there were rounds of hard, bland, stale-tasting white brot, that seemed from the rolls that they bring to each table (which were not very good to begin). the disappointing was disappointing. the gutter was hard, crispy and tasteless. I could not chew through them and after a few bites left the labor and left the rest uneaten. the small amount of colour and sunshake with which it came were decent. my friend ordered this healed and said it was pretty good. Maybe it was a night, but to spend $150 on this experience was really frustrating.
The atmosphere at Copper leaf is always outstanding. Beautiful wood, logs burning in the fireplace, hand blown glass on display. The food is good, however, some items were not as flavorful as expected. The charcuterie board was excellent. The service is friendly and courteous, however nothing moves very quickly so be prepared for a leisurely time.
