Had our first, and unfortunately last dinner here for our anniversary. The food was delicious, staff was smart, funny and delightful! Really sad to see this place close, but wishing the chef, their family, and their staff the best! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+
Loved this spot. We had a really fun birthday dinner at the chef’s table. Food, vibes and chef were all great. There wasn’t a single dish on the tasting menu we didn’t like. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We enjoyed the cozy, quiet, and comforting atmosphere at Cook Weaver. We had the vegetarian tasting menu and were really impressed by the artistry of every dish. They were crafted with unique flavor combinations that went really well together. We enjoyed every dish but the amuse bouche, melon soup, and tomato toast were my favorite. This was our second time here and would love to come back again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $100+ Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Vegetarian menu or section Parking options: Paid street parking, Paid parking garage
I had an incredible experience with the tasting menu, which also offers an optional wine pairing! This restaurant features two distinct menus, each usually consisting of seven courses. You can opt for either the omnivore or vegetarian selection. It’s one of my favorite places, known for its bold, unique, and delicious seasonal flavors!
The corn dog was a creative idea, and I enjoyed the first omnivore dish quite a bit. Unfortunately, most of the other offerings fell flat in terms of flavor, with some combinations, like rhubarb foam paired with a scallop, simply not working at all. While everything was cooked properly—neither undercooked nor overcooked—and the portion sizes felt right, we left feeling disappointed by the overall taste; it didn’t come close to what I’d expect from a typical tasting menu in terms of flavor and quality. Additionally, the atmosphere felt a bit too casual for the price point. I would rate it lower, but I must acknowledge that the staff were friendly and attentive, the pacing of the meal was good, and the wine pairing was intriguing, with one particular selection standing out both on its own and alongside its respective course.
