This is a fantastic neighborhood café for a weekend brunch. With plenty of outdoor seating and a garden-like ambiance, it offers a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent—I particularly enjoy the biscuits and gravy, sweet waffles, and ivory waffles. Plus, it's a dog-friendly café, so you can bring your furry friends along! View all feedback.
What Hector Zboncak doesn't like about Citizen:
Listed as Creperie on Yelp, but it hasn't sold crepes for two years. If you want that, you warned. I believed that and I wish I had been warned :) It has a beautiful food truck vibe like the one you find in Portland. The outdoor spaces are clean and a pleasant surprise. This review is solely about the outdoor space as I did not drink here. Love the outdoor space- specially for a large group. It’s a good place to invite a bunch of people to reconnect or just hang out in a relaxing environment. The couches and chairs are comfortable and plenty and the tent keeps the temperature pleasant. There is also seating outside the tent.
Grabbed a quick to go sandwich, the BLAT on the menu. Pretty good! There isn't a ton of incredible lunch spots in this area and I think this restaurant isn't open for lunch every day. But the food was good, they have espresso drinks and the staff was friendly.
Not your average brunch, better. Love the diversity that brings the menu and the fun loving atmosphere. Always a fan of reused shipping containers! Late Night Shenanigans are also fun when you are 21
So glad we stumbled over this place! Cool mood, it was nice to sit outside watching the clouds pat a few friendly pups and enjoy amazing food. Our food was delivered incredibly fast by wonderful friendly servers. It'll come back.
Great breakfast sandwich. I have scrambled with cheese and bacon on the brioche bun. $11 was a little pricey to me (teacher budget lol) but was definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.
