Cha Cha Lounge

Description

In the vibrant heart of Capitol Hill, Cha Cha Lounge boasts a unique underground atmosphere filled with colorful decor and a lively, fiesta-inspired ambiance. While the intriguing decor captivates, many patrons are let down by mediocre margaritas and disappointing music choices that fail to complement the space's potential. Despite the crowded environment becoming stifling at times and the occasional wait for food, the venue offers an appealing setting for social gatherings. Touted as a hidden gem, it presents an enticing escape, but visitors should temper their expectations regarding drinks and service while enjoying the lively vibe.

The lounge is fantastic, featuring amazing drag shows and outstanding service. The only suggestion would be to tone down the amount of red decor in the club.

The restaurant had a surprising atmosphere and decor, but there was a lot of smoking which made it difficult to breathe. Despite the cool decor, it may be quite dirty when the lights are on.

I enjoy exploring new places to try margaritas, and I've tried hundreds. Unfortunately, I must say that the margarita I ordered at this restaurant was the worst I have ever had. It was an orange juice tequila mix. The bartender's demeanor gave me the impression that this was a college bar used to dealing with loud crowds, but surprisingly, the place was mostly quiet and empty. Perhaps it was just an off-time. The food took 45 minutes to arrive due to a kitchen power outage, but when it finally did, it was mediocre. Despite this, the unique luchador-themed decor and abundance of Mexican decorations were the only positives. In summary, this establishment is more of a dive bar. Don't expect great drinks, food, or service. Instead, come for the atmosphere with low expectations, and you may be pleasantly surprised.

The male security guard with a long beard physically entered into the women’s room shining a flashlight and verbally assaulted the women inside. He was tall enough to see over bathroom stall. When I reported it to the female bartender she was aggressive and reacted with malice. This is a privacy violation and completely inappropriate, a male cannot and should not enter the female bathroom. Have better staffing and don’t use the excuse of “im the only female on staff, get over it” when your male security verbally harasses women in the FEMALE BATHROOM. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
