This place is a diamond in the rough. Some of the absolute best middle-eastern food in the city, at a great price, served by some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Been coming here over 20 years... What Quentin Obis dislikes about Cedars:
Not great. Chicken sandwich comes with a heap of iceberg lettuce and a sour bland sauce. Not delicious. Also, owner's hands are absolutely filthy and he doesn't change his gloves.Food: 2/5 View all feedback.

Ten years ago I ate at Cedars U District and swore I wouldn't be back, because of the horrendous serviceI don't remember the food from that visit.
BlehSo terribleThe Indian food at Cedars is no where near authentic, and is just bland and unexciting.
One of the best gyro places I've ever been to. If you're going to the UW this place is great to eat at, and it's right by the U District station.
I've been eating here for more than 30 years. My dad used to take us for falafel sandwiches, and it is one of only a few good Lebanese spots in the region since we lost Omar Al'kiam in Renton, and Aladdin's in Silverdale.
